Allen Iverson is Still a Man Without a Team

There haven’t been many players in the NBA that have played the shooting guard position better than the Allen Iverson. Obviously Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant come to mind amongst other NBA greats before you even consider Allen Iverson, but it would be hard to argue that he isn’t one of the greatest players and one of the my favorite to bet online to ever play this game and it is hard to believe we are only a few months away from the start of the NBA season and AI is still unemployed.

Now it is pretty obvious that the Detroit Pistons decided to rebuild this year after they refused to resign Allen Iverson and Rasheed Wallace and have been shopping Richard Hamilton, so Iverson’s future in Detroit was basically over before it started, but a lot of teams I think thought that AI’s behavior in Detroit was an indication of what Iverson would be like if he had to ride the pine and were not impressed or interested in signing the future hall of famer.

So as a result of Iverson’s short stint in Michigan he may have just ended his career as a starter in this league despite being just as effective in that role.

There have only been a handful teams in the NBA along with one team overseas that have shown interest in Iverson and this makes it very interesting as far a sports betting goes. The one team that looks closest to signing Iverson is the Miami Heat, but just like the other teams he will most likely have to come off the bench. The Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzles and the New York Knicks, but it looks like if AI is going anywhere it will be with Miami.

Even though a lot NBA franchises think Iverson is poison right now, Iverson could without doubt in my mind change a team like the Miami Heat from playoff team to title contender which will turn the sports betting world upside down along with online betting and the Heat’s NBA championship odds on sports betting forums.
